AS VIII - Princely towers

Up until the eleventh hour, no name had been chosen for the territory, called simply the Principality in the North. Several names had been suggested with none presenting as the favored choice. Finally, it was suggested that a common element be taken from a sample of the submitted names, that being the word Tir. The Principality of An Tir, Gaelic for "The Land" was established, a Principality of the West Kingdom.

Frederic of the West Tower was the first prince, Anne of the White Tower his princess. The two towers on either side of their highnesses are taken from their personal arms.
