The northern regions of An Tir did not wish to give up their allegiance to Western kings when An Tir won the right to rule themselves. Named for the angelic guardian of the north, the region of Oertha left An Tir and went back to the West, swearing allegiance as a principality. Kylson Skyfyre was the first prince, Anne of Bradford his princess.
