Trimaris was raised to kingdom status, Baldar Langstritter the first king and Ljudmilla von Konigsberg his queen.
Queen Adriana Holloway Tarragon, queen of Atenveldt, passed from this earth. A hand descending from the heavens is inspired by a scene in Bayeux Tapestry.
This year also brings the return of Halley's Comet, featured in the original Bayeux Tapestry.
Diamond Wars begin in the Barony of Small Gray Bear, represented in the lower margin by the bear and diamonds.
The Seagirt Tapestry is displayed for the first time at 12th Night, in the Barony of Lionsgate in An Tir. It documents the continuing history of the Barony of Seagirt. The barony's device is in the upper margin - an orca - next to a daffodil representing the yearly Daffodil Tournament.
(Author's Note - The tapestry was on display at Gulf Wars XXI and I was surprised to find that many residents of the Gulf Kingdoms interpreted the God's Hand blessing the departed Queen as Hurricane Elena, which postponed Trimaris' first kingdom coronation. I have been told that the coronation of Baldar and Ljudmilla was held in someone's back yard due to said hurricane. This late discovered piece of history was a joy to discover and an enlightening moment. I thank the residents of the Gulf Kingdoms for sharing it with me so I can have it recorded.)
