The Principality of Oertha gets to hold a Kingdom event for the first time since AS XXVII. It is visited by another volcanic eruption that threatened the event, but luckily ended prior to the Purgatorio Coronation.

The A&S 50 Challenge was started this year, created and promoted by Lady Albreda Aylese, from the Mountain Freehold in the East Kingdom. The craft studio pictured has her (in red) overseeing the masterpieces about to be created. The purpose of this artistic movement was to strengthen personal artistic and cultural development, enhance the Society through continued participation and education, as well as giving back to the Society at large by sharing research and largess.
